 MODEL SECTION GUIDE
In model selection, narrow it down to the most suitable model while considering the following conditions.

1. Casting Material (Tensile strength ㎏/㎜²)
2. Sectional Area of Gate ㎜×
3. Weight Weight in isolation ㎏/piece
4. Uses ①Separating Gate ②Separating Runner ③Separating Side Riser ④Separating Top Riser
5. Molding Machine
6. Frequency of use ①8 Hours/Day ②16 Hours/Day ③Other
7. Layout ①Floor Level Line ②Waist Level Line
8. Operation ①Before shot ②After shot
9. Voltage V Hz

 BREAKING POWER
The Gate Pecker's breaking power varies greatly with the conditions specified in the casting plan and other plans. For Material FCD-450, refer to the following guide.

Model Breaking Power
Ton
Maximum Breakable
Sectional Area
 ㎜² (㎜×㎜)
GP-MN 5.5 100 (10×10)
GP-DM(DF) 9 200 (15×15)
GP-5LV(5VS,5FK) 14 440 (21×21)
GP-10M(10F,10S) 27 1,100 (33×33)
GP-20(20F) 40 3,000 (55×55)

For gate separation with the Gate Pecker, it is extremely important to use the following effectively
1)Distance between the bill and breaking point.
2)Separator notch.
To separate work of Material FCD-450 with a GP-10M, for example, the breaking power with tensile strength alone will be
1,100㎜²×45㎏/㎜²=49,500㎏<49.5ton>
Even if the friction coefficient is excluded, the GP-10M with a breaking power of 27 ton cannot complete the separation. The key point in this case is therefore to make effective use of 1) and 2).
<NOTE> If there are two or more gates, be sure to begin with the edge of side A in the separation, then process the remaining gates in order.
